How to Share a Snore Clip from Snorely

To share a snore recording from Snorely, open a saved night, scroll to Loudest moments, listen to a clip, then tap that clip’s Share button and choose a destination. Snorely does not send clips automatically. You choose which saved sound to share; playback and sharing are separate actions, so listening first is a step you take yourself.

1. Open the night you want to share

Tap History and select the night by its date. In the night’s report, scroll down past the score, timeline and tags to Loudest moments. Each clip has a play button, a waveform, a time, a duration and separate flag and share buttons. Check the time before choosing a clip, especially if you want to show someone a particular moment. Sample nights illustrate the report but have no audio to play or share.

2. Listen to one clip at a time

Tap the play button on the clip you are considering and listen through it. The button changes to a pause icon during playback; tap the same button again to stop, or let the clip finish. Check that the sound is the one you intended to send and that it contains nothing private. Avoid tapping several play buttons in quick succession: Snorely can start overlapping playback when clips are opened rapidly. Wait for each preview to finish before trying another.

3. Tap Share beside that clip

Once you have chosen a clip, tap its Share button on the right side of the row. The flag beside it is the Not snoring control, so check which icon you are pressing. Use the Android sharing panel to choose an available destination. Android suggests apps and people based on your device and activity, so your choices may differ from someone else’s. Follow the receiving app’s steps, check the recipient and attachment, and complete the send there if required.

What the shared file contains

Snorely shares the selected clip as a WAV audio file. Its filename begins with snorely and includes the clip’s date and time, so consider whether you want the recipient to see that information. The sharing details use the title Snore clip and the text Recorded with Snorely. This action attaches one saved sound, without including the report’s score or timeline. Before sending, check the attachment in the destination app rather than assuming a particular preview or player will appear.

Choose a saved clip, rather than a custom time range

Snorely keeps up to six short clips from louder moments across a night. You can choose among those saved clips, but the sharing controls do not let you trim the beginning or end, join clips, or select an arbitrary stretch of the timeline for export. Listen to the whole clip before deciding. If it contains conversation or someone else’s private audio, choose another clip or leave it unshared. Marking a clip Not snoring changes its contribution to the score; it does not redact the audio.

Why an older clip may no longer share

Snorely retains audio for the most recent 14 recorded nights, rather than for 14 calendar days. An older report can still show clip rows and play or share buttons after its audio has been removed. Tapping one may show No audio saved for this clip. Pro opens older saved reports, but it does not restore removed audio or extend that audio retention limit. If a clip matters to you, use an available sharing destination to keep a separate copy while it still plays, then check that copy.

If sharing fails, check playback first

Try playing the exact clip you want to send. If it plays but sharing shows Could not share the clip, try the sharing action again and, if available, another destination that accepts audio files. If it does not play, use the messages in the table below to narrow down the problem. Missing audio can also follow a storage or saving failure; an old date is not the only possible cause. Turning audio saving on now cannot recreate a clip that was never saved or has been removed.

Check privacy before choosing a destination

Ask anyone whose voice or private sounds are audible before sharing their audio. Check the destination carefully, including whether it is a private conversation, a group or a public post. A sharing suggestion is not a reason to choose that person. Once you hand a clip to another app, consider that app’s storage and sharing settings too. Do not rely on deleting the night in Snorely to remove a copy already sent elsewhere. If the filename reveals more timing information than you want to disclose, pause before sending.

If you are sharing with a clinician

Ask the clinic how it accepts audio before sending a bedroom recording, and use the channel it requests. You can note which night the clip came from and what prompted your concern, without treating a short sound as a diagnosis. Snorely is a wellness app and does not diagnose medical conditions. If you have concerns about your breathing or sleep, speak with a qualified healthcare professional; sending a clip does not replace that conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Snorely Pro to share a clip?

Sharing is included for the most recent three recorded nights without Pro. Opening older saved nights requires Pro, and a clip must still have its audio available to share. Check that it plays before assuming an upgrade will help.

Can I select several clips and send them together?

There is no multiple-clip selection in the report. Each row has its own Share button, which shares that clip. To send another saved moment, return to its row and use its Share button separately.

Does the recipient need Snorely to listen?

The attachment is a WAV file, rather than a link to a Snorely account. The recipient needs an app that can open WAV audio. Playback and attachment handling depend on the receiving app, so check with the recipient if it will not open.

Can I back out after tapping Share?

Yes. You can dismiss the sharing panel before selecting a destination. If you have already opened another app, check its current screen before proceeding. Snorely does not treat a canceled sharing attempt as a sharing error.

Can I export the night as a PDF or shareable report card?

Snorely has no built-in PDF or report-card export. The Share button beside a clip sends audio. If someone asks for your score or the night’s timing, provide that context separately rather than expecting it inside the WAV attachment.
